Working statement · July 31, 2026
Family learning should not depend on one way of seeing, hearing, moving, or understanding.
Saralivo is being designed with accessibility as a continuing editorial and engineering responsibility.
Accessibility goal
Our working target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is a goal, not a claim of formal conformance: the site has not yet received a complete accessibility audit or usability testing with people with disabilities.
Measures currently in place
- semantic page landmarks, headings, lists, links, and navigation
- a keyboard-accessible skip link
- visible focus indicators
- responsive layouts that do not require a fixed desktop width
- plain language and descriptive page titles
- limited client-side JavaScript
- text alternatives required for future meaningful images
- automated framework and type validation before deployment
Known limitations
- No formal WCAG conformance audit has been completed.
- No testing with screen-reader, magnification, voice-control, switch, or other assistive-technology users has been recorded.
- No response-time commitment for accessibility feedback has been established.
- Linked external resources are outside Saralivo's control and may have different accessibility levels.
- Future worksheets, video, audio, advertising, and interactive tools will require separate accessibility checks.
Assessment approach
The current site has been checked through automated framework validation and manual structural review. Before launch, Saralivo should test keyboard navigation, zoom and reflow, color contrast, reduced motion, heading structure, link purpose, and representative assistive technologies.
W3C recommends that an accessibility statement identify the applied standard, feedback route, known limitations, measures, and assessment approach. See the W3C accessibility-statement guidance.
Feedback
Use the contact form and choose “Accessibility feedback.” Describe the page, the barrier, your browser or assistive technology when relevant, and the alternative you need. Do not include sensitive personal information.
